- Magdalena Stepien, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in electroencephalography (EEG) and epilepsy. A Phi Beta Kappa honors graduate of the University of Chicago, she earned her medical degree at Chicago’s Rush University and continued there for her internal medicine internship, neurology residency (finishing as chief resident) and neurophysiology fellowship. She has a special interest in epilepsy in females, EEG monitoring and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring. Dr. Stepien is an active community volunteer and member of the American Academy of Neurology. She is also a native Polish speaker. She joined AdventHealth Medical Group’s elite neurology team in Central Florida upon completion of her fellowship training in Chicago.
