Tabitha L. Schrufer-Poland, MD, PhD, is an award-winning, board-certified OB/GYN and maternal-fetal medicine specialist. She specializes in high-risk pregnancies with particular interest in clotting disorders, maternal congenital and acquired cardiac disease, and many more areas. She earned her PhD in Cellular Molecular Physiology from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania and a Doctor of Medicine from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, Florida. During her OB/GYN residency and fellowship at the University of Missouri Kansas City she focused on fetal growth restriction and maternal and fetal heart disease. She has had numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has given presentations at national meetings.
