Patricia Guerrero, MD, FACC, is board certified in cardiovascular disease, clinical cardiac electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology and cardiovascular computed tomography with special interests the evaluation of patients with arrhythmias; prevention of cardiovascular disease; identification of cardiovascular diseases in women; and detection of cancer therapy-related cardiac diseases. A noted researcher, speaker, academic and clinician, she graduated second in her class at the University of Cartagena School of Medicine in Colombia, South America, prior to undertaking her residency training at Michigan State University in Lansing, where she was honored as Outstanding Internal Medicine Resident. She next completed clinical and research fellowships in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
