  • Dr. Mullins is a fellowship trained Primary Care Sports Medicine physician. She uses non-surgical treatments to address a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Her clinical interests include youth athlete injury prevention, overuse injuries, concussion, tennis medicine, and bone stress injury management. She is trained in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound to diagnose orthopaedic conditions and to aid with proper needle placement during injection therapies, including corticosteroid, hyaluronic acid, and platelet-rich plasma. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Her post graduate training includes completion of residency in Family Medicine at Ohio State University and Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Emory University. Dr. Mullins currently serves as the team physician for Orangewood Christian School. She has previously assisted with medical coverage for Georgia Tech Athletics, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Fan Controlled Football League, UTR Pro Tennis Tour, NSAF Outdoor Nationals, and the Atlanta Marathon. She is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Mullins has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on a range of sports medicine topics including the prevention of sport-related injury in youth athletes, concussion management, exercise prescription, and exercise physiology. Dr. Mullins enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their dog Rocky. She also enjoys traveling, golfing, and following IndyCar racing.
