- Matthew Zussman, MD, MS, is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist who is fellowship-trained in pediatric and congenital interventional cardiology. He specializes in surgical procedures and non-invasive cardiology to address congenital heart disease in adults as well as congenital heart defects, atrial septal defects, patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), narrowed valves and arteries, and pulmonary hypertension in children. Dr. Zussman is also a leading provider of cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate who has been recognized for his clinical and academic excellence, Dr. Zussman earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, carried out his pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and undertook his advanced fellowship training in cardiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Ohio. He next completed a master's degree in translational research at the University of Cincinnati, followed by an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
