- Kambiz Kadkhodayan, MD, is the Program Director of the Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency, followed by a Gastroenterology fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Maimonides Medical Center, in New York City. He subsequently completed an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the Center for Interventional Endoscopy, at AdventHealth Orlando. Dr. Kadkhodayan received additional training in advanced resection at the National Cancer Center and Tokyo Metropolitan Geriatric Hospital in Japan. He subsequently joined Creighton University in Arizona, where he served as the Director of Endoscopy and teaching faculty for the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program. His areas of clinical interest include comprehensive and interdisciplinary management of patients with obesity, complex gastrointestinal disease that include pancreaticobiliary and luminal cancer. He is proficient in endobariatric procedures, EUS, Interventional EUS (including tumor ablation), ERCP, endoscopic resection of large polyps and early cancers (ESD, EFTR etc). He is an avid researcher, passionate teacher and has presented at several national and international conferences. He is fluent in multiple languages that include Farsi, Urdu, Russian, Hindi, Guajarati and Marathi.
