Julia Henry, MD, is a highly experienced pediatric neurologist with board-certification in child neurology and epilepsy. After earning her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, she completed residencies in child neurology and pediatrics at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Henry went on to receive fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy surgery at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. She has served as an assistant professor of pediatric neurology and director of the epilepsy monitoring unit at the University of Chicago and received numerous academic awards, including the Whitehead Excellence in Teaching Award for Residents from the UNC School of Medicine. Dr. Henry has published articles on a variety of neurology topics and has a special interest in neurological conditions affecting newborns, tuberous sclerosis and epilepsy surgery.
