Having a passion for sports and human anatomy, he combined his interests and made it his career. A graduate of Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Bedney earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University in California. His residency was at AdventHealth Family Medicine Residency Program in Winter Park. He completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Dr. Bedney is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
In addition to his love of basketball and other sports, Dr. Bedney enjoys singing, song writing, public speaking and serving as an elder in his church.
