Dr. Barsoum is triple-board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has considerable experience providing a variety of interventional cardiology therapies including complex and high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, deep and superficial venous therapy and more. After graduating from California State University as a biochemistry major, Dr. Barsoum attended medical school at St. George’s University in the West Indies. He returned to the states for his internal medicine residency training and dual fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Seton Hall University/St. Michael’s Medical Center in New Jersey. Since then, he has held numerous hospital appointments including serving as an attending physician for interventional cardiology at AdventHealth Orlando and as an attending physician and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at AdventHealth Waterman.
