Amelia Thompson, MD, MPH, is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in children, adolescents and young adults. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, she is an award-winning graduate of Colgate University who simultaneously earned both her medical degree and a master’s in public health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. She thereafter undertook her pediatrics residency followed by an elite fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Emory University in Atlanta.
