Raffenaud, Amanda, PhD

  • Amanda Raffenaud has been teaching health administration courses for over 12 years and thoroughly enjoys connecting with students in the classroom. She is passionate about assisting students with the knowledge and skills they need to progress within their health administration career. Amanda joined the faculty at AdventHealth Unversity in 2016, after previously teaching at the University of Central Florida. Amanda received her Doctorate in Public Affairs, in the Health Management and Research Track, from the University of Central Florida. During her Doctorate program, she completed research related to the healthcare work environment, work-and-family conflict, and health information technology. Prior to earning her PhD, she completed both a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration. Additionally, she has published articles in Healthcare Management Science, the Journal of Healthcare Management, and the Health Informatics Journal, and has contributed to several health administration textbooks. She has presented her research findings at many local and national health care conferences. As an academician, Amanda is dedicated to advancing the health administration field through research contributions as well as equipping students and future leaders.
